Moreover, the use of AI in genomics can accelerate the interpretation of genetic test results, facilitating personalized recommendations tailored to individual patient needs.

As genetic testing continues to expand, it is bringing into focus a shortage of genetic counselors who can work with patients to explain results and answer questions. Most often, however, the new technology is lab-based. Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have led to the development of large language models (LLMs), like ChatGPT.
